E-mail security

Students and faculty should be wary of receiving fraudulent e-mails.  Phishing messages, sometimes appearing to come from people you know, may contain attachments or links that are designed to obtain your personal information without your permission.  If you have any suspicion that the e-mail you are receiving is fraudulent, do NOT open any attachments or click on any links.  Instead, forward any suspicious mail to spam@wlu.edu.  For more information, check the ITS page on security guidelines.
