Date Change: Walking Opportunities for 30 Miles in 30 Days

We have some fun opportunities to get moving as part of the 30 Miles in 30 Days challenge. Talk a walk for fresh air, good company and, of course, exercise. Have you ever seen the campus walking trails map? Patti Colliton is going to lead three walks around campus trails for people who want an opportunity to get out and exercise with company. This is a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with the trails that are in W&L’s “backyard”. You may contact Patti (x8287) or Nicole Poulin (x8920) the day of the walk if the weather is questionable. Each walk will require athletic footwear and active, weather appropriate clothing.

The Lexington Visitors Center will be leading a one hour walking tour of Lexington on Monday, May 12th, at noon. This is an opportunity to exercise and learn more about our city.

Thursday, May 1st, 12:15. This will be a walk on back campus, past the garden. These are woodland trails and it takes 45-60 minutes.

•Wednesday , May 7th, 4:45. This will be a walk on back campus, past the garden. These are woodland trails and it takes 45-60 minutes.

We will be meeting on Cannan Green for Patti’s walks and at HR for the Lexington tour.
