Is your resume making a positive first impression? Know how to write an effective cover letter?
This session will give you the tools necessary to draft professional documents. A Career Counselor will review the purpose, basic format, and content of resumes and cover letters. Bring your resume!

Not sure what career you want to pursue? Not sure where to start?
This session is designed to help you start your career exploration, identify available resources available and help you plan your next steps.

QUICK TIPS: NETWORKING – Monday, July 21
Are you uncomfortable meeting new people? Not sure what to say? This session is designed to demystify the networking process. Discover easy to follow tips to network successfully and make a positive first impression. We will review networking resources, ideal timelines for reaching out, and general communication etiquette.

QUICK TIPS: SOCIAL MEDIA AND YOUR JOB SEARCH – Monday, July 28
Having a successful social media presence goes beyond untagging photos. In addition to scrubbing your profiles, learn to leverage social media to find jobs, connect with employers and make yourself a more attractive candidate.

Not sure where to start looking for a summer internship? Join us to identify available job search resources and plan your job search strategy.

QUICK TIPS: INTERVIEWING – Monday, August 11
Never had a job interview? This program will identify strategies to help you secure an offer. We will review basic interview etiquette, tips for success, and identify practice resources.
