Recording Holiday Time in WebAdvisor

As the holidays are approaching we wanted to take this time to remind employees of the holiday schedule and how to record this time in WebAdvisor.
Listed below are the scheduled University Holidays December 2014 and January 2015.
Winter Holidays:   Wednesday, Thursday and Friday December 24, 25 & 26, 2014
Thursday and Friday, January 1 & 2, 2015
Employees who do not work during the entire winter holiday will need to use 3 days of CTO for: Monday, December 29, Tuesday, December 30 and Wednesday, December 31.
The University reopens on Monday, January 5, 2015.
Non-exempt employees, including casual employees, who are required by their supervisors to work on a University Holiday should refer to the Employee Handbook, page 21, for the holiday pay policy.
Hours should be recorded as follows:
Record actual hours worked under “Regular Hours” and under “Shift Hours” and select “Time & Half- Univ. Holiday” under “Shift Type.”  If you did not work a full day, the difference of actual hours worked and your regular scheduled hours should be recorded under “Other Time Hours” with “Other Time Type” of “Univ. Holidays/Closings.”
Non-exempt employees who do not work on a University Holiday should record hours as follows:
Record regularly scheduled hours (for most this is 7 or 8 hours) under “Other Time Hours” and select “Univ. Holidays/Closings” for “Other Time Types.” Be sure there are no hours recorded in “Regular Hours.”
Exempt employees who are required by their supervisor to work on a holiday may take another day off during that calendar year.
All non-faculty exempt employees are reminded to use WebAdvisor each month to record holidays and other time off.
