Join the Paintball Club this weekend for a day of fun games for players of any age or experience level. Â
The vans will depart at 10AM from the quad and will probably return around 4:30PM. Â Cost will be determined based on number of participants, but will be between $15 and $25, which can be paid ahead of time or that morning.
Students can bring their own equipment or rent gear. Students should bring snacks or a lunch and something to drink for the day. They should wear comfortable clothing with closed-toed shoes. Pants and a sweatshirt or light jacket would be the best option. Layering is a good idea because you can add or remove layers as the day progresses. The paint has completely washed out in the past, but no promises.
In case you were wondering… Getting shot won’t cause any permanent damage, but depending on the range a student is shot from it can sting or even leave bruises.
Washington and Lee and the House Mountain Track Club will sponsor the 4K Turkey Trot and one-mile youth run on Thursday, Nov. 8. Â All runners are invited to Jordan’s Point Park, where registration will open at 3:30PM on the day of the race. Â The youth run will begin at 4:15PM and the 4K at 4:30PM.
