A reminder to all students that the Student Health Center and the University Counseling Center are closed and do not provide clinical services to students during the summer months. The SHC will close its 24/7 clinical services at 5 PM on Thursday, May 24. There will be both physician and counselor appointments available for students during the day on Friday, May 25, if needed. Both the SHC and Counseling Center will be closed on Monday, May 28 for Memorial Day. After that, both the SHC and Counseling will be open only for limited days/hours during the summer for staff to accomplish administrative functions, but not for regular appointments for clinical care. There is not a physician or counselor on call during the summer. Messages and e-mails will be checked periodically, so students should plan ahead for summer health care needs such as prescription refills, follow up care, referrals, medical records, etc. The Student Health Center will reopen for clinical services 9-5 daily on Monday, August 13, and for 24/7 clinical services on Friday, August 31 for the 2012-2013 academic year. The University Counseling Center will reopen for regular clinical services on Wednesday, August 15 for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Thursday, May 17 from 3-5 p.m. will be the last day the barn will be open for equipment return. If you still have equipment checked out, be sure to return it Monday, Wednesday or Thursday next week between 3-5 p.m.
