We are looking to diversify our key staff, which means we need more women leaders! You don’t need to be experienced to be key staff, just enthusiastic, open-minded and fun! The opportunities are boundless–you can lead hiking, kayaking, camping, rock climbing, caving and mountain biking trips, or plan your own adventure.
The 2011 Panhellenic Council held their retreat at House Mountain Inn this morning. I am always so excited to get the year started, and this retreat always gets me motivated! This year Panhellenic will be starting some new programming. Be on the lookout in October for Panhellenic Pink Out,! an educational program about breast cancer. As always, the Halloween Carnival is at the top of our programming list, and planning is well underway.
In addition to planning programming, the Council discussed policies and guidelines for recruitment, upcoming recruitment events, goals for the upcoming year, and expectations of the membership. Each member of the Council also took a personality inventory called Strengths Quest. We had a lot of fun learning about each others’ strengths and how our individual strengths enhance the Council as a whole.
It’s going to be a wonderful year for Panhellenic.
